I am a software engineer. For the past couple of months, I have been stuck in the grind of waking up, writing code, reaching out to recruiters and doing the same thing over and over again.

A few days ago, I got tired of it all and questioned why I had substituted the pleasure of understanding the intricacies of computation for grinding to get a day job.

Not to say jobs aren’t important but I was slowly losing something important about my human experience.

I realized that I genuinely enjoyed this subject matter and this daily grind was subtly taking that away.

Your essay reminds me of that, Rosie. It reminds me to stop, bask and ponder on that unique human experience and the connection we create.

There’s a lot I’m gonna be thinking about in the new week but above all,

Thank you so much for writing this.

I think you say it so right Rosie that spirit and emotion can't be replicated. Actually you could say that AI will mean that we endeavour to speak our truth and from the very essence of us more, to feel that we are indeed alive and a soul having a human experience.

I paid because I want this writing to continue. All buying decisions are emotional. This essay points out why AI is nothing to fret about, because AI can not plunk down their money to support Rosie, nor make any buying decision because that takes emotion.

Well said.

I agree with your points, especially on the issues regarding the usage of AI, as being a result of capitalist agenda and system that we're living in. It's important that more people realize this and push back against the system.
